Privacy notice

What we process
MarketAI processes the startup profile, traction goals, experiments, approved content, media, campaign schedules, founder decisions, first-party campaign events and account usage needed to operate the service. Research records retain their historical participant codes and consent history.
AI generation
When you request experiment recommendations, campaign content or a revision, MarketAI sends the relevant approved business profile, goal, knowledge excerpts and revision feedback to OpenAI. Do not include credentials or sensitive personal information in this context. We request response storage to be disabled; provider retention policies still apply. MarketAI retains generated drafts, version history and generation audit metadata. AI suggestions require your factual review and approval before publication.
Account access and email
We process your name and email address to create and secure your account. Email/password accounts store a salted password hash, not your password. Resend processes the recipient address and verification, recovery or account-security message needed to deliver transactional emails. Queued action messages are encrypted and their contents are cleared after acceptance or terminal failure; delivery status records are retained for up to 30 days. Verification and reset links expire and can only be used once. We store hashed email/IP rate-limit keys to reduce abuse, and a password reset signs out previous sessions.
Buffer as publishing processor
When a workspace owner connects Buffer, MarketAI stores an encrypted OAuth access token and rotating refresh token. We request account read, post read, post write and offline access only. We do not request Buffer analytics access. Buffer receives only the exact post, media URL, destination and UTC schedule approved by the owner.
Media hosting and deletion
Uploaded JPEG and PNG files are signature-checked, decoded, re-encoded and stripped of embedded metadata. Scheduled media uses an opaque stable public HTTPS URL so Buffer can retrieve it. Media cannot be deleted while a pending or scheduled post references it, and workspace deletion removes its stored objects.
Revocation and retention
Disconnecting Buffer clears MarketAI's stored tokens and deselects its channels. Historical approval, publication and usage evidence is retained for audit integrity. You may also revoke MarketAI from Buffer. Research withdrawal stops future research participation without deleting operational workspace records.
Your choices
You control channel selection, every external approval, cancellation before publication, workspace membership, exports and workspace deletion. Contact the Linkbridge support channel associated with your account to exercise a data right.
